If you haven't been following at least X-Men: The Complete Age of Apocalypse Epic, Book 1 you're going to be pretty lost since the majority of the story focuses on previous plot points from that series. This is a crossover of Age of Apocalypse, Uncanny X-Men and X-treme X-men. I was very disappointed. It is a poorly conceived jumble in which the art style keeps shifting, most of the characters get lost and it fails to provide a satisfactory ending to Xtreme X-Men.
